Families thrive when kids and dogs truly understand each other, and my Family Paws training gives you the knowledge and confidence to make that bond safe, positive and stress‑free.
FAMILY PAWS
My Family Paws training focuses on helping families create a safe, positive and harmonious relationship between their children and their dog.
In 2023 I became a qualified Family Paws educator, which is something that I am very passionate about and is close to my heart. By completing this course, I am able to help families create a safe, positive and harmonious relationship between their children and their dog.
Bringing a dog and children together can be wonderful, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. Family Paws focuses on helping families create a safe, positive and harmonious relationship between their children and their dog, whether you're preparing to bring a baby home, introducing a new dog to your family, or helping an existing dog adjust to growing children.
I work with the whole family to understand canine behaviour, recognise what your dog is communicating and create practical strategies that work in everyday family life. We discuss supervision levels, environmental set up, what safe interactions look like, understanding body language, management and how to build a positive relationship, ensuring both children and dogs learn how to live comfortably and respectfully alongside each other.
Every family is different and my approach is tailored to your individual circumstances, your children and your dog. My goal is to give you the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to create a safe environment where children and dogs can build a trusting and lasting relationship.
Because helping dogs and kids understand each other is one of the most important parts of creating a happy family.
If you would like further information on how to build a great relationship and set your whole household up for success, please contact me to discuss your options.
